i tried searching, but couldn't come up with the right syntax to surely find out what others have done with this problem.
here it goes: i know i can attach a picture to an email or insert it into a Word document using the dialog box and choosing "media: photos" which accesses my iphoto library. but in doing so, i have found one weird bug which i don't know how to circumvent:
it doesn't seem that this is always up to do date. for instance, if i got to "last import" it might show me an import from two days ago even if i've imported new photos since then (which i of course want to attach to an email, etc.).
is there any simple way to force a "refresh" of the iphoto library so that this doesn't happen?
i hope my question makes sense. i can often fix the problem by completely quitting my web browser and iPhoto, but that seems like a pretty heavy handed thing to do (and it doesn't always seem to work!)
thanks for any help you guys can provide.
