iTunes Library on iOmega Storecenter

I have recently boucht an iOmega Storecenter iX2 drive and moved at first my iTunes Library from our MacBook Pro (build 2009).
However last week the directory which was set in iTunes setting was again on the harddisk instead of iOmega ix2.
Did I forget some settings here, it should always remain there at least this is the way I liked to be.

Secondly the password management of the Storecenter is odd, i would like that the password is setup on the keymanagement on Macbook so whenever i login with my username that the drive is automatically connected and accessible. Now the Macbook request a username and password to connect which seems not OK.

Thanks for any help in advance, not a pro user so i am depend on you guys ( and girls !!!)
