Speed-wise, what to do/have? (Recovering pictures files gig).

So, let me start with some background.

I was hired to recover 10 TB of image data (in 5 2TB drives). Done with a Windows 7 computer and Stellar Phoenix (I know, heresy....:o). But now the client needs to build up libraries from the recovered data. 90% are RAW files. So, anybody knows, speed-wise, what solution is the fastest for import the data an create the libraries needed? Say, Aperture vs Adobe LR.
