Surely I'm an idiot, because there couldn't ever possibly be anyway that the iTunes 11 developers wouldn't include a way to sort a podcast by the date released ascending.
I'm not talking the List view which shows ALL the podcasts in a shared library, but the "Unplayed" or "Podcasts" view.
A lot of podcasts I listen to are news podcasts and I really want to listen to them in the order they were created - not newest first. And I want them to rattle through until I tell them to stop - not make me click to start the next one each time.
I know, I know, I'm asking a lot, but either I've COMPLETELY missed an option to sort it, or the iTunes developers have never actually listened to a list of podcasts before in a real setting. I mean, its on the iOS app... (though no way to set it as the default option... don't get me started there.)
I'll also take nominations for other, better, podcast apps that allow for iPhone syncing to the desktop.
