Ok MBP gurus, Need help using voice on email.

My snow lepoard MBP I'm trying to type keywords and my laptop say them out loud and I record them.

Here's why: I want to set a few rules for certain email address. I receive several emails throughout the day and I hear the chime for all of them. However, if I'm waiting for an email from John Smith. I want when John Smith sends me an email for my computer to say "John Smith"

I don't want my own voice, I'd rather use a computer voice.

#1 how do I have my MBP say what I type?

#2 how do I record this? does maybe garage band allow me to type and it repeats it back and I record it?
