mpeg Thumbnails

Is there a way to get thumbnail pictures on the mpeg movies..instead of having to open each one.

I did do a search but all kinds of apps come up. Do I need to download something to get it to come up?

also I have multiple cameras I took MPEG video with..is there way to tell which camera took the video.

Example.I can tell which camera took a picture with aperature or iphoto or even in device model it has the camera and make. But for movies the get info does not have the device and model.
