Been browsing the net trying to find ways to do these things and have come to terms with the fact that if I want it done, I'm going to have to buy the program to do it. But now I want to make sure I find one that will do BOTH of these things.
My dad recently purchased a new iMac. I've transferred the hard drive from his two older computers (one of which crashed and was sitting in his basement for 5+ years so it's OLD) over to the iMac. Problem now is that I've got an iTunes library with 7,000+ songs, but not all can be played because they're unauthorized. The older computers were ones my brothers and sisters used when we lived at home so I'm dealing with several different iTunes accounts here. I can't just authorize every account though because some are old and forgotten ... and others already have 5 authorized devices.
Second problem is that I've got several old ipods as well, all with different libraries, that I need to put on the computer too.
Does anyone know of a good software that will both remove DRM from itunes songs and let me transfer songs from my ipod to my computer?
