I have been using iPhoto on my iMac for about 2 years. Back in January of this year my HDD was getting full so I moved my iPhoto library off onto an external drive and relinked iPhoto to it. Been using it that way ever since, no problems.
I bought a new iMac (3 TB Fusion drive) last week. So I restore from my time machine backup and the most recent pictures I have in iPhoto were the ones from around the same time I moved the photo library (January of this year). So I figured that perhaps I had not selected the other external HDD into my backups. No biggie. I just moved the library from the external drive.
However, I cannot locate those pictures anywhere. I moved the iPhoto library back to the new iMac's HDD, but they still only show until January (same as the backup). Is it possible that after I moved the library that new photos were saved somewhere else? I haven't deleted anything so they should be somewhere. Right?
Any help would be extremely appreciated!
