iPhoto '11 Upgrade cannot repair permissions

I upgraded from Mac OS X 10.5 to Mac OS X 10.8 to repair a corrupt OS. I was having issues with iPhoto '09 both before and after the upgrade, so I thought upgrading to '11 might work. No. It did not. Here is what happens when I try to open my iPhoto library:

The photo library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto. Your photo library will not be readable by previous versions of iPhoto after the upgrade. The upgrade process for very large libraries may take an hour or more to complete. Clicked "Upgrade"

There is a problem accessing one or more files in your iPhoto library. Do you want iPhoto to repair permissions for this library for you? Clicked "Repair" and put in my admin password.

iPhoto was unable to repair permissions for the library. Clicked "Quit"

It seems to get to the exact same point each time. I've read that some people have had one problematic file that iPhoto '11 can't read. But how do I find THAT file?
