I have a very big iPhoto library and would like to copy most of the data from it to another computer. What is the best way to do that while preserving all the metadata (events, albums, ratings, faces, GPS tags)? When I tried sharing them over local network, it just shows me a flat list (grid) of photos, which is not very friendly, since I'm planning to copy a couple years worth of images split across dozens of events. I could just copy over the whole iPhoto Library bundle, which would be a bit of an overkill, but in my case a bit too much is better than too little. Are there other options?
