iTunes error -42408... Do NOT want latest version 11.1!

I held out on upgrading my iTunes from 10.7 to 11 all this time because I really dislike the interface and the layout of the iTunes Store. I like iTunes 10 the most, but after installing iOS 7 on my phone, I was forced to upgrade to iTunes 11 by Apple.

Long story short, I've gone back to iOS 6 on my phone, and want to also return to iTunes 10.7 on my Macbook Pro. I deleted iTunes 11, and installed the iTunes 10.7 dmg file. So far, so good, except every time I boot up iTunes, I get this error message:

"An unknown error occurred -42408"

Once I click 'okay' to get past the error window, iTunes 10.7 runs fine! I can load my music and videos, access the iTunes store, and everything. But that pesky error pops up every time I open iTunes on a fresh software boot now.

Anyone know what I'm missing in my iTunes file list to make that error go away? Apple's official site says my resolution is to "Update to the latest version of iTunes."

Yeah... not gonna happen. That's why I ditched iTunes 11 in the first place! :p

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
