Hello MacRumors
I have an iTunes Library that was an import from an old music collection. I have changed the default directory from being ~/Music to be /Volume/HDD(my non SSD non system drive)/Media/. Within this folder is all my mp3s infolder by artist then inside by album. at this point i had itunes scan my volumes looking for media. at which time it did and was all scattered in broken albums and other havoc all over my disk.
after about 2 days of work i Tagged and fix all my music to be in proper albums and art and the whole nine. I as well went though and deleted sending to trash all the music that over the years my taste has changed.
When i look at /Volume/HDD/media/*/* all the old structure and the files that i have deleted are still in that location. I was under the assumption that I delted and edited the mp3s.
My question to you oh wise forum...I want to make all my folders nice an neat consisting only of the mp3's in the library with their tags. but i want it on my non system disk.
Thanks!
