Hello,
I recently bought an iMac (running 10.8.3) and now my Gruml App (which would store RSS images for offline viewing) no longer has an image cache (at least one that I can access...it's now an SQLite .db file instead of just a regular cache).
Does anybody know of an RSS reader that has n NON-.db cache of images for offline viewing? I don't care what else it does as long as I can sort through the cache and bulk move pix.
Since I haven't logged into my RSS feeds in awhile, I now have 236901 unread feeds and don't want to have to sort through them all (within an app) in order to find the ones that I want, then drag-n-drop them one-by-one into a Finder folder...I want to be able to (spacebar) preview them in a Finder folder then bulk transfer blocks of images to my HDD.
I wish I could find the NetNewsWire offline image cache because it seems to be the most efficient at "downloading" all of my feeds. However, I haven't had any luck finding the image cache, and NNW's new owners (Black Pixel) haven't responded to my inquiries. So, I'm open to new apps.
And, yes, I do know that Google Reader is discontinuing Reader on July 1, which is why I want to get all of the information before they do so.
Thanks,
J.
